After nearly a month off it is time to go back to the races. I enjoy the time off, but also enjoy a little bit of traveling, in moderation of course. I kickstart a 4 in a row with one of the smoothest tracks in the country in Rockford, IL. Looking forward to it, just not the 4 am wake up to catch the flight.
The Rock is the only track that I have almost ever got into a fight. Back in 1995 when I was on Powerlite, Kris Weborg ran into me in the last corner in a moto. I was in the apex of the turn and he seriously ran into me at a 90 degree angle and plowed right through me. Neither of us transfered. He was a local and he obviously had a problem with me because you don't pull that kind of move on someone just for kicks. Anyway besides that, the Rock is always a good place to go race. Smooth track, awesome facility, super sticky turns. Should be a good time.
