Pete and I did a clinic not too far from our hotel in Adelaide today. Track was pretty nice but it was super windy and super cold. The kids were great and overall it was a good time to ride a little and have fun with riders from all over the world. Someone even drove from the very top of Australia and the total trip was over 3000 km with the first 1000 km being a dirt road. WHAT?? That is crazy.
On a sad note, one of the kids there who is 11 years old broke his leg. I believe he was taken to the hospital and went straight into surgery. His name is Bryce. To see the look on his face and the pain along with the sadness that he now cannot race the world championships was heartbreaking. I pray he can heal up soon.
