It was good to finally spend a weekend at home, my first since June. After coming home from Australia there was a race in Prunedale the weekend after, and then Carrie and I went with our church group to Morro Bay for the weekend. This past Sunday it was good to have Jim Gardner along with Mandy and Trae and Tori back at church. Jim spoke about many things, but he touched on the Sabbath and the intention that God has for us to take time to rest and let our bodies recover. That is hard to do in today's society, but very important. I appreciated Jim's comments and for reminding me that we are better servants for God when we follow His model for rest.
Noah and I are taking a rest on a Sunday afternoon.....one of my favorite parts about Sundays.
