Well I missed the bike show once again in Vegas. I've gone a couple times, but honestly I can't handle all the walking. For some reason walking more than a hundred yards or so in a day just takes it out of me. Walking muscles must be different than riding muscles....I don't know. Anyway it was an honor to be nominated for the NORA Cup award along with Donny, Mike and Maris. Congratulations to Maris for winning as he definitely deserves it. I think it is a cool thing that the actual competitors vote for each category, I think it gives it a little extra meaning.
This weekend was our annual Spiritual Growth Workshop at the church where I attend, Woodward Park Church of Christ in Fresno, CA. Speakers from all over the country including a couple who were past ministers from our church came to speak on the beatitudes from Matthew Ch 5. Carrie and I enjoyed going each evening Wednesday through Sunday to hear some really good preaching. I was very challenged and convicted in many ways. It was an awesome weekend for me and it gave me new energy for the week....and I'll need it cause my three kids always have energy.
No races for a few weeks, next is ABA Lancaster for me. Kinda nice, just family time, riding and getting school work done.
