| In Colorado | I've been in Colorado for my 6 month re-evaluation for a couple days now and we've been having a lot of fun. Polly and I flew in on Friday night and our friends Nicci and Diane picked us up from the airport and we grabbed some dinner. They took us to Craig where I have an apartment for the week. It was so strange for me coming back here. It just seems like I only left a week ago. Just wheeling back over the bridge that I went over every morning to get to therapy just sort of....well it was just weird for me. But I was also excited to see some of my nurses and friends that I made while I was here as well.
Saturday Jen and Anne picked us up and we met Diane and Nic for a movie. We saw Vicky Christina Barcelona and it was so funny. Penelope Cruz was in it and just stole it. We just relaxed for a bit after and watched Olympics and then had a reservation for dinner with a bunch of other friends from Craig. We started it off with a shot of Petron and then a few more drinks to top that off. I had a great time at dinner with great friends and am lucky to have met them.
Today we ran around and made sure to go the store so I could get food for the week. We had to take Polly to the airport and I was bummed she had to go, but work calls. Jen and Anne have to leave tomorrow morning as well because one of the girls that works for them quit. They were supposed to stay for the whole week, but instead they had to get back to work as well. Oh and just to remind everyone..Jen and Anne own the Hot Tomato Cafe in Fruita and I'm not kidding when I say it's the best pizza I've ever had. Well, I opened up my Outside magazine on the way here and saw the Hot Tomato Cafe. I was so stoked to see them get some props.
So needless to say I'm on my own. Well, not completely since my friends Brian and Beth as well as my nurses are here but you know what I mean. :)
Tomorrow I start my testing with an ultrasound amongst other things and I guess it's going to be a very busy week. I'm pretty tired so I'm heading to bed, but I'll write more later and let you all know how my week is going.
