I flew home from Huntington Beach, CA where the Soul Bowl was, for one whole day! It was good though. I rode a bunch at Woodward Camp and then took off to meet up with the Tony Hawk Boom Boom Huck Jam crew in Chicago.
Its crazy, there are a lot of choreographed sections where you have to be on point and remember your lines or else somebody is going to get hurt! So I got in the night before the first show and started reading some of the runs. The next day we got to practice them and I got a chance to get used to the ramp. Then….. show time! I was pretty stressed trying to remember everything! It went ok though.
That night we pulled out on the tour buses and drove 7 hours to Detroit, Michigan. I dragged my ass into the hotel at 6:30am and got some sleep. When the show started that day I felt way more comfortable and had a great time riding. Flip from Albes was in attendance and we got to hang out a little afterwards. Alright. I’m in the tour bus now writing this. I’ve got one more night here in Detroit and fly home to PA tomorrow.
