This past weekend Woodward was host to a big NBL race and am freestyle bmx contest. It's nuts to see this place crowded with people again overnight! The grass hills at camp were covered with rv's and cars.
At the top of camp, an am freestyle contest was taking place. This has become a yearly contest. Tons of young talent filled up the 3 categories: mini ramp, dirt and park. I was a judge for the weekend. The highlight for me was the park contest which went off today. The class was 15 and over, but the top 3 were : Winner,Zane Bradley(age 13)- 2nd was Nicholi Rogatkin(age 12) and 3rd was Sean from NJ(age 13)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These guys are so good they enter the older class!! Tricks the went down from these kids were: 720's, flip whips, double whips,. 540's, bar to bar airs...... sick!!!
