NZed, sweet as, minus the giant Carbon footprint it takes to get here....
To say that I travel a lot would be a bit of an understatement, and I get it as pro snowboarders we all travel a lot. But I have come to a realization this summer that I have been on the road for most of it's entirety and on every trip I've packed for both beachy summer days and full on winter conditions, flip flops and snowboard boots, puffys and tank tops I mean it's kinda hard to believe that two days ago I was complaining about the heat/dust/silicone in Huntington Beach at the US Open of Surf and shielding my ivory, or dare I say pasty, skin from the sun and that right now I am hunkered down next to a propane space heater in wintertime New Zealand bitching just as hard about how cold my toes are and how wind burned my face is, aah the joys of traveling with me .
In truth, I love it all and the idea that summer or even winter for that matter, consist of one general weather pattern ie: warmth in summer, snow in winter seems just as long ago and far away as my childhood summers spent frolicking in the wilds of the Connecticut country club scene playing golf and tennis and doing all things preppy . Oh the lives we life and the many different shades of summer and oh the carbon footprint we leave in the name of fun.....yipes, check out the live webcast of the New Zealand Open for more random musings and effed up antics from yours truly, t
