G'day..... Jamie Anderson celebrates another stellar weekend....
So after a brief two day stint in the upright and locked position aka, commercial air travel, I am once again down under. Instead of spending Labor day with the rest of America bidding summer farewell with an assortment of lawn games and BBQ's I am here in the Snowy Mountains of Australia for the Burton Australian Open. The good news is snowboarding is fun, and as much as i love the unadulterated awesomeness of complete summertime enjoyment, hot laps through a slushy spring pipe with a bunch of friends is pretty awesome too, even if the pipe is flat, kinda kinked, and over and under vert all at the same time. Really though, no complaints, it's crazy how when you step out of the contest arena for one minute you suddenly realize how much the group complains as a whole, seriously, getting paid to shred has got to be one of the best jobs in the world and yet we can all find a plethora of things to bitch about but I guess that is life and life down under has been pretty sweet thus far.....snowboarding, friends both with and without the I, and freaking creatures that bounces around on their hind legs for crying out loud.  1-2 Frends Podium-Luke Mitrani and Mason Aguirre
So the 20somthing annual Cross Country Ski pub crawl cruised through the pipe contest and I swear even Oscar the Grouch in his garbage can of a house climbing uphill drunk off his ass complained less then the snowboard crew.Seasoned Pro Danny Davis knows how to hide his beers and his attitude
