Yeah, snowboarding is so fun. Gretchen, Kelly and I are finally snowboarding again and it is finally effing snowing. After lagging a solid four hours Gretchen and I packed up our little lives and drove to Copper just in time for the last few runs of the day. Classic Gretchen and Tricia road trip, we set out to leave at 8 and then call each other every half hour saying "almost ready, how about in a half hour" until about noon when we load up and then proceed to run back and forth from car to house getting cell phones, shoes, music, etc. then drive twenty minutes get coffee, drive another twenty get food, etc. until we finally reach our destination just in time for the light to be flat, the pipe to be kinked and the mountain has turned into sheet of ice. Ahhhh shredding, Kelly knows better and knows us well enough to know exactly when to show up. So here we are in Copper, riding a decent early season pipe, watching the forecast and contemplating driving to Wolf Creek to ride the 4feet of pow.....xoxoxo t
