Here we are, the second to last day. The weather again closed in and caused a few problems, slowing down the courses. The Skull Candy headphones have arrived and are being given to the podium winners each day. Hats have also arrived. If you haven’t gone to pick one up hit up registration tomorrow!

The HCSC/Oakley rail jam was a lot of fun last night. Copper brought out some snow cats to light up the course and the riders looked like they were having a great time. The Boom Box was blasting—what a killer feature!

11-year-old Arielle Gold blew away the judges at half pipe today with a backside seven, a killer accomplishment for a girl that age. Props! No stranger to the podium, she has won every event she has entered her at nationals, according to her coach. Definitely a rider to watch! She was followed by Ty Walker and Taylor Chatwin in second and third.

Open class faced a tough challenge with a soft slopestyle course. The riders rode hard, all hoping to get the TTR (Ticket to Ride) points that are a new addition this year. For the girls Lynn Neil of Utah took the gold, Mikaela Casey of Minnetrista, MN took the silver and Molly Wilson of Aspen, Colorado claimed the bronze. Ryan Anderson, Rick Millet and Joe Mango took first, second and third, respectively, for the men.

The Red Bull DJ Goldie is warming up the crowd right now for another round of awards. Windell’s is giving away their last camp session tonight, so I hope you all bought your raffle tickets. All the money raised goes to the USASA scholarship fund.

Tomorrow head over to the Sierra Nevada College tent for a chance to win some free gear. Erica is over their with a DaKine backpack and some other great swag that’s up for grabs.

For all the 11th place winners, GO211 are awarding hoodies. Go to the GO211 RV to pick it up if you claimed 11th place.
