The Dew Tour took over Breckenridge this week. It was really exciting to catch up with all my friends for the first contest of the year. This time I was a spectator, but it was nice to watch a contest from a different perspective. Only 5 girls were invited for skier slopestyle and halfpipe. It was exciting to watch mens slope, both Shaun White and Bobby Brown had amazing runs. The course was incredible! It was also exciting to see Tanner Hall win mens ski halfpipe. He is always on fire and I can't wait to see his double flip! Maybe he will bring it out at X Games! All in the contest went well, especially considering the weather. The day of the mens and womens ski slope, it was -20 and snowing like crazy. The conditions were extremely difficult because the wind was howling.
One of the nights during the tour, Chanelle Sladics, Marie-France Roy and I set out with Oakley and gave the guys from Fuel a tour of the town. We took Jordan to a couple of our favorite spots. The best shops, the best bars, the best restaurants and the best night club... It was an exciting evening and it ended with pole dancing at Cecilia's!
Now it's time to head home for Christmas, and to meet with Seven Springs about my event this March. It's called Homecoming and it is an all girls invite only ski and snowboard slopestyle event. I can't wait!
